Terms of service

These terms apply whenever you hire one of our digital influencers through Face for Hire. By ticking “I agree” and paying, you accept them. If anything is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp before you book.

1. Who we are

Face for Hire is a service of Pro Media Mogul, a digital agency based in Durban, South Africa (“Pro Media Mogul”, “we”, “us”). In these terms, “you” means the business that books and pays for a package.

2. Our influencers are digital people

Every influencer on Face for Hire is an AI-generated digital person, created and managed by Pro Media Mogul. They are not real people, and any resemblance to a real person is unintended.

• You agree not to tell your audience, or suggest, that she is a real human being.
• When you post our videos, you agree to follow each platform’s rules for AI-generated content, including switching on labels such as TikTok’s and Meta’s AI-generated content labels where they apply.

3. Online only

Our influencers work online only. There are no in-person appearances, events, store visits, physical photo shoots or live appearances. Everything we deliver is digital video.

4. Packages and prices

Campaign: R5,000

The influencer you choose makes either 2 × 1-minute videos or 4 × 30-second videos for your business, based on your brief and the photos you send.

Brand Ambassador: R25,000 once-off

The influencer becomes your permanent, fully exclusive official face (see section 9). Your first campaign (2 × 1-minute or 4 × 30-second videos) is included. Every campaign after that costs R5,000.

Prices are in South African rand (ZAR). The price shown when you check out is the price you pay for that order. Final price · no hidden costs.

5. Your brief and your materials

You give us a written brief and any photos or files (for example your logo, products, premises and price lists). By sending them you confirm that:

• you own them or have permission to use them, and our using them to make your videos won’t infringe anyone else’s rights;
• the claims in your brief (prices, specials, qualifications, results) are true and you can back them up; and
• you are allowed to advertise the products or services in your brief.

You give Pro Media Mogul permission to use your brief and materials to produce, deliver and support your videos.

6. Content rules

We keep our influencers classy. We won’t make videos that:

• promote anything illegal, or break advertising rules that apply to your industry;
• are hateful, discriminatory, harassing or violent;
• are sexual or adult in nature, or target children inappropriately;
• are misleading, make false claims, or impersonate a real person or brand; or
• infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.

Pro Media Mogul may decline any brief, or ask you to change it, at our discretion. If we can’t accept your brief, we refund you in full (see section 11).

7. Production, delivery and changes

• After you pay, we review your brief. We’ll confirm your delivery date with you after reviewing your brief. If you gave us a deadline, we’ll tell you whether we can meet it.
• We may contact you to clarify details. Delays in getting answers or materials from you may move the delivery date.
• We deliver your videos digitally, for example by download link, email or WhatsApp.
• Each video includes one round of reasonable changes, such as tweaking a line, swapping a product photo or adjusting the call to action. Please send all your changes for a video together. A completely new concept, script or format counts as a new campaign.
• Because our influencers are AI-generated, small visual differences between videos are normal.

8. Your licence to use the videos

Once you have paid in full and we have delivered your videos, Pro Media Mogul gives you a licence to use those videos to promote your own business on your own channels: your social media pages and accounts (such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube), your website, and your WhatsApp and WhatsApp Status. The licence has no time limit, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You may not:

• sell, sub-license or give the videos to anyone else to use for their own business;
• edit the videos so that she appears to say or endorse something that was not in your approved brief, or in a way that is misleading or harmful;
• use the videos, or her face, voice or likeness, to train or create other AI content or new videos with other tools; or
• use the videos for political campaigning, adult content or anything that breaks the content rules in section 6.

Pro Media Mogul keeps ownership of each influencer character (her name, face, look, voice and personality) and of the videos themselves. Unless you ask us not to, we may show your videos in our portfolio and on our own channels.

9. Brand Ambassador exclusivity

When you buy the Brand Ambassador package (R25,000 once-off) and your payment is confirmed:

• she becomes your business’s permanent, fully exclusive official face: her face, look, image, charisma and attitude;
• we remove her from the Face for Hire catalogue and won’t offer her to anyone else for new work;
• your first campaign is included, and later campaigns are R5,000 each; and
• we won’t use her to promote any other business.

Exclusivity starts on the day your payment is confirmed. Videos she made for other clients before that date may still be in use by them. Exclusivity is for your business only and can’t be transferred without our written consent. Because she is AI-generated, we can’t control unrelated people who independently create similar-looking images, but we will never knowingly offer her, or a copy of her, to anyone else.

If two people try to sign the same influencer at once, the first confirmed payment wins. We briefly reserve her while a Brand Ambassador payment is in progress.

10. Payment

You pay online through Paystack, our payment provider. Your card or banking details are handled by Paystack; we never see or store them. Your order is confirmed once Paystack tells us the payment was successful.

11. Cancellations and refunds

In short: if we can’t accept your brief, you get a full refund. Once production has started there are no refunds, but your round of changes is included. The full details are in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Our responsibility to you

• We make every video with care, but we can’t guarantee results such as views, followers, leads or sales.
• We aren’t responsible for decisions made by social media platforms, such as removing a post, limiting reach or rejecting an ad.
• You are responsible for how and where you publish the videos, and for any claims in your brief.
• As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
• Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under South African law that can’t be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

13. Privacy

We look after your information as explained in our privacy policy.

14. General

• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
• We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
• If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
